Dr. Alan Bresler

Dr. Alan Bresler was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Brooklyn College of New York for his undergraduate degree, and then went on to Washington University Dental School, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery together with Dr. Hanna Bresler. Dr. Alan then completed a year of residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. He remained on staff as an attending doctor in the Dental department of Monmouth Medical Center for approximately 20 years. Following residency, Dr. Alan and Dr. Hanna opened their dental office in Long Branch, where they have been working since 1979. In 2008, Dr. Alan and Dr. Hanna opened their second office in Lakewood, New Jersey. Dr. Alan is especially skilled at treating the pediatric population as well as the dental phobic, creating a calm and relaxing experience.

Dr. Hanna Bresler was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College of New York, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in her Junior year of college. She attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine together with Dr. Alan Bresler to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. While in her final year of dental school she was asked to teach a lab course to first year dental students. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Hanna completed a year of residency at Monmouth Medical Center, where she and Dr. Alan remained on staff as attending doctors in the Dental department for approximately 20 years. Dr. Hanna and Dr. Alan opened their office in Long Branch following their year in residency, and have been working there for over 30 years. In 2008, Dr. Hanna and Dr. Alan opened their second office in Lakewood, New Jersey. Dr. Hanna has earned a reputation as a skilled cosmetic dentist, utilizing veneers, lumineers and implants, as well as crowns and bridges to correct aesthetic problems.

Dr. Steven Bresler was born and raised in Long Branch, New Jersey by his parents, Dr. Alan and Dr. Hanna Bresler. He attended University of Maryland Dental School, where he was elected to the Gorgas Odontological Honor Society as well as the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. In 2013, Dr. Steven was selected by Washington University’s Dental Alumni Association to be the recipient of their merit-based academic scholarship. While in dental school, Dr. Steven participated in an oral surgery clerkship as well as a pediatric clerkship. Dr. Steven completed a year of residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Steven lives in Toms River with his wife, Sharona, and four children.

Dr. Marsheh earned his first Dental Degree overseas, and practiced in underserved areas for two years focusing on Endodontic treatment before he moved to the United States. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, and earned his specialty degree in Endodontics in 2009 from Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Marsheh practiced General Dentistry before entering the Endodontic Program to experience complete patient care. While completing his specialty training, Dr. Marsheh conducted research at New York University focusing on “Anxiety toward Endodontic Treatment”. Dr. Marsheh specializes in the efficient and effective treatment of root canals.

Dr. Wolf graduated from University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude where she earned her bachelor’s degree in American History. She received her DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she was the recipient of the “Excellence in Pre-doctoral Periodontics” award from the Northeast Society of Periodontics. Dr. Wolf did her training in Periodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. In the third year of her residency, she was awarded the Melvin L. Morris Periodontal Research Fellowship for the work she performed on her Master’s thesis. Dr. Wolf is a Diplomate in the American Board of Periodontology and an Assistant Professor at Columbia University where she serves as the Director of Pre-Doctoral Periodontics. The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation awarded Dr. Wolf with both the Abram and Sylvia Chasens Teaching and Research Fellowship and the American Academy of Periodontology Teaching Fellowship for her commitment to academia. In addition to teaching, Dr. Wolf is actively involved in research projects and has co-authored a number of publications in the dental literature. Trained in all aspects of periodontal therapy, Dr. Wolf’s practice includes the treatment of periodontal disease, esthetic gum work, and implant therapy.

Dr. Edward Boim

Dr. Boim received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He earned his specialty degree in Orthodontics from Columbia University. He is board certified and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Mid-Atlantic Orthodontic Association, and the Columbia Orthodontic Alumni Association. He is a trustee of the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society and chairman of the New Member Committee. Dr. Boim specializes in Orthodontics, and cares for patients of all ages. Dr. Boim’s services include traditional metal braces and orthodontic appliance, as well as Invisalign and Invisalign Teen invisible braces.
